Assist. Prof. Dr. Güçlü Atınç
Dr. M. After graduating from Tarsus American High School in 1995, Güçlü Atınç received his undergraduate and master's degrees from Trop State University in 1999 and 2000. Later on, he returned to Turkey and first worked in family businesses, then in the area of foreign trade n Doğan Holding for a short period of time and finally as an inspector in Yapı Kredi Bank. Moving to the USA in 2006, Dr. Güçlü Atınç gained his second master's degree from Louisiana Tech University and in 2011 he completed his doctoral studies in the subject of strategy management-corporate governance. He worked as an assistant in the same university between the years 2006 and 2011.
Starting his academic career in Tyler campus of University of Texas In the year 2010-2011, Dr. Güçlü Atınç worked as the assistant professor in University of Drake in 2011-2014, and assistant professor doctor in Texas A&M University-Commerce in the academic year of 2014-2015. Today he still gives lectures in the subjects of strategy management and corporate governance to graduates.
Having academic studies on strategy management, corporate governance and research methods, Dr. Güçlü Atınç has 4 social science indexed two of which are in elite category, published or accepted 7 articles during the years 2010-2014. Giving presentation in so many international and national conferences, Dr. Güçlü Atınç is among the journal referees and arbitration commission of many academic magazines and he is also awarded many times for his academic works.
Dr. Gülbeniz Akduman
Gülbeniz Akduman was born in Istanbul in 1977. After graduating from Arel College, she studied in the Department of Geophysical Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering, Istanbul University. In order to learn business life, she worked as a volunteer tourist guide in Topkapı Palace during her high school years. And in the university, she worked in different sections of Turkish Airlines. She studied her master's degree in Business, Management and Organization in Marmara University and then her doctoral study in Management and Organization, Human Resources Management. During her professional life starting in Topkapı Palace in 1994, she worked in different management sections of Turkish Airlines, Havaş, Avea, Turkcell Superonline, Doğanonline and DeFacto. She served in companies in different sectors as a consultant and an instructor. In all the corporations she has been working for since 2000, she gave lectures in personal and administrative development, and trained new instructors. Finally she worked as Training and Happiness Manager in the Human Resources of DeFacto Perakende Mağazacılık for 2,5 years. In scope of Management of Employee Relations, she established and managed Happiness department with the project "Managing for Happiness" that is first in Turkey and is already given as a course in Harvard. She was awarded for this project for 2 consecutive years. Her book titled "Mutluluk Müdürü" that tells about her experiences in the area was published in 2013. She wrote a book with Zeki Yüksekbilgili with the title Eğitim Oyunları in order to make educational system more permanent, participant active and effective in 2014. Since all the plays in Eğitim Oyunları are easy to apply, to understand and to give real results, the book was highly acclaimed by valuable human resources experts and instructors and this led the second book Eğitim Oyunları 2 to be publlished in 2015.
In addition to her being instructor and writer, in order to share and increase her personal experiences and knowledge, she also offers services in educational and consultancy area of Human Resources, Management-Organization, Personal and Administrative Development.
Dr. Selma Kalkavan
Kalkavan has had responsibilities as a manager in System Develpment, Strategic Planning and Administrative Organization, Human Resources and Education in the leading institutions of Turkey for more than 15 years. She has been working as a Managing Partner in The Performance Coach, that is one of the world's most important coaching schools.
She also works in the areas of Strategy Consultancy, Executive Coaching, Career Coaching, Team Coaching, Facilitator, Leadership Development and Human Resources Consultancy.
Ms Kalkavan has the international ACC certification that registers her as a coach by ICF-International Coaches Federation. She completed her coaching trainings supervision in Coaching and Certified Coaching by EMCC-Europe Coaches and Mentors Council. She organizes trainings of Coaching and Mentorship certified with ICF and EMCC.
She also has the facilitator certificate of the program of Drucker Institute Management Academy. Ms Kalkavan completed her doctoral studies in the area of Management and Organization with her thesis on the subject of "The Effects of Managerial Coaching Behaviors on The Employees' Perception of Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Job Performance." With the academic article she prepared on this subject, She participated in Rome-10th International Strategic Management Symposium and received the best paper award.
Her book "Koçluk Etkilediği ve Etkilendiği Örgütsel Faktörler" was published in June 2015.
During EMCC Research 2015 Conference organized on the subject of "Bridging The Gap Between Research & Practice" in Warsaw in 23-24 June 2015, she presented her research with the subject of "The Effects of Managerial Coaching Behaviors on The Employees' Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Job Performance."
She is the member of EMCC, ICF, YDD and IAF Foundations and EMCC Research Board.
After completing his high school education in Saint Benoit French High School, he studied in the Economy Department of Bosphorus University (1986).
He worked as the Receptionist in Grand Tarabya Hotel starting from his 1st year of the university in 1981 for 6 years in total. Before his army duty, he worked as Front Office Clerk in Istanbul Hilton International Hotel for 2 years.
As he returned from army, he started to work at Unilever in January 1990. After working as Management Trainee in Export Department for 9 months, he was assigned as Administrative Accountant of Algida Group. Having 5 year experience in Finance sector, he worked as Distribution and Storage Manager of Unilever Food Solutionsa Supply Chain,. After 1997, he had responsibilities almost in every division of Unilever Human Resources. He had different tasks from Building Management to employment, relations with the employee to Talent Management. Currently, he had the titles of Project Manager and HR Service Director in the largest and extensive Human Resources exchange project within the global business world that includes around 55 areas like Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Turkey and Russia.
In August 2013 he retired after working 33 years, 23 of which is spent in Unilever.
Right now he spends his time with hobbies such as land hunting, spearfishing, ship model building, history, biography, science books and education.
Mehmet Ünal had his undergraduate degree from Istanbul University and master's degree in the University of North Texas. Mehmet started his career during university years. Later on he worked as a teaching assistant in the University of North Texas. In 1982 he worked as an expert in the sections of workforce and training of ARAMCO (Arabian American Oil Co.) and continued his work life in Saudi Arabia until he returned to Turkey in 1987. From then on, he continued his career in the areas of finance and human resources. The companies he has worked for are Giba-Geigy (now known as Novartis), Pepsi Cola International, Philip Morris and Coca-Cola. He has always had local and international roles for his responsibilities. He had managed company establishments, purchases and many human resources and a lot of organizational development projects. Since 2001, Mehmet has been working as a management consultant and manages local and international projects. Additionally, he also gives lectures in master's degree programs of universities.
Taking responsibilities in Turkey and different countries in the areas of Human Resources and Education in Non governmental Organizations and leading organizations of the sectors like Building, Banking, Finance, Aviation, Energy and Logistic for 25 years, Ms Rodoslu has worked as Deputy General Director, Board Member and Executive Committee Member. She is the Turkey Director of The Performance Coach, one of the important coaching schools of the world.
Since 2000, she has given lectures in the areas of Leadership, Management, Coaching, Human Resources and Personal Development in 50 large national and international companies that are among the first 500 companies of Turkey. In addition of coaching trainings from different schools, and advanced level international coaching certifications from ICF-International Coaching Federation, PCC and EMCC Europe Coaches and Mentors Council, she also has a long-term experience of Leader Coaching. She organizes trainings of Coaching and Mentorship certified with ICF and EMCC.
Giving lectures on Leadership in MBA program of Dogus University for long years, Ms Rodoslu still leads Coaching trainings in Human Resources Master's Degree program of Istanbul Bilgi University.
She works as a volunteer facilitator in the development program of 'Young Leaders' coming from around the world to WYSE, a social responsibility project of the United Nations
In addition of Leader Coaching and Team Coaching, she also has studies on different subjects that support vision, change and strategy with companies as the first certified facilitator of Turkey.
Besides, she also offers consultancy service on Leadership Development subject and organizes special sessions for the companies as an expert spokesperson.
She has Master Facilitator certificate of the Drucker Institute Management Academy program.
Also member of ICF, EMCC, YDD and IAF Foundations. She is Board Member of EMCC and President of Accreditation Board.
